Meaningful Work Retreats

Alla Guelber launched the Meaningful Work Project with the inaugural Meaningful Work: Green Jobs + Social Innovation Retreat in April 2010. Several more retreats followed ever since convening social innovators, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, community leaders and other seekers of meaningful work. The Meaningful Work Project team celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the Retreats in October 2019 in Canmore, Alberta.

The Inspiring Hearts Project

The Inspiring Hearts Project was an artistic collaboration bringing together, as project leads, Alla Guelber, an environmental educator, community organizer and facilitator with Eily Aurora, a professional harpist and vocalist, systemic constellations facilitator, and community organizer. Our goal was to inspire participants to tune in to the intrinsic resiliency and healing potential of the heart, nature, and the strength of community.

Somativity: a workshop on engagement through awareness

Somativity was developed so people can make more authentic choices and express themselves by going into the essence of action, undistracted by excess thought. It is an inquiry into the mind / body relationship through practical social and physical action. This workshop is offered by the Meaningful Work Project in conjunction with Theatre Encounter.

ActivationWorks: Creative design processes to make your meetings come alive

The Meaningful Work Project in conjunction with MSU Consulting offered ActivationWorks to bring your meeting or workshop alive. By using simple and safe interactive activities and exercises, participants remain engaged, keep lively discussions flowing, get the main points of your message in fun and involved ways.
